the 3d printer project

This is arguably one of my most difficult but also ambitious projects I have made. The project was to create a visual illustration of the CO2 emissions of NYC by borough. After doing my data research I created a sketch then scanned the sketch where I would digitize the lineart in Adobe Illustrator re-sketch, then converting the file into a .STL file through Tinkercad where I would make a 3D version of the sketch by scaling up the individual borough’s height. Then through a USB stick I put the .STL file into a 3D printer. The job took 3 days to print.
